We’re kicking off 2018 with our annual March Celebrity Bracket Challenge, and this year, our impact focus will be on providing clean water to the victims in Puerto Rico of last September’s Hurricane Maria.
While the prizes for the Bracket Challenge are valuable, the real excitement for us is in making a Big League Impact in Puerto Rico through our close partners, Food for the Hungry, Roberto Clemente Jr. , and the Clemente Family Foundation. Water relief efforts have been costly because shipping water from the US is expensive. Our partners have worked to rebuild and reopen an existing local water plant that provides high-quality drinking water at an incredibly low cost:
For the last two years, you have battled against Adam Wainwright, Bob Costas, Jon Hamm, David Wright, Brian McCann, Jonathan Cain, Jim Edmonds, AJ Pierzynski, Jonny Diaz, Kyle Gibson, and many others. The Bracket Challenge is free this year, but we’re asking for a suggested amount of $20 that will go directly towards providing 140 bottles of drinking water in Puerto Rico. $50 provides 350 bottles and $100 buys 30 cases. Together, let’s make a Big League Impact!
