Food for the Soul

Food for the Soul is a nonprofit, faith-based organization. Our mission is to fight childhood hunger, school by school, in North Texas. Our flagship program in the Backpack Program, through which we provide more than 2,000 children on the free and reduced lunch program with meals and snacks for the weekend. Every Friday, these children receive backpacks filled with nutritious meals and snacks for the weekend throughout the entire academic year.
