Partnership offered people the chance to win a unique electric first-generation Ford Bronco while raising money for the work done by Crisis Aid International, Water Mission, Food for the Hungry, and Help One Now

St. Louis–based Gateway Bronco and Big League Impact teamed up with online fundraising platform Omaze to offer auto enthusiasts a unique prize — an electric classic Ford Bronco (plus $20,000 in cash) — to benefit Big League Impact, a nonprofit started by St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright.

Over 88,000 donors raised $431,378.09 for Big League Impact to help continue their mission of fighting poverty in the U.S. and in countries like Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Uganda. The generous donations will help Big League Impact’s support for projects administered by four different organizations: Crisis Aid International, Water Mission, Food for the Hungry and Help One Now.

“The collaboration with Gateway Bronco and Omaze provided a unique and engaging platform to raise both awareness and dollars for the incredible work that our partners do,” said Keith Brooks, executive director of Big League Impact. “We are grateful for the partnership and thrilled that our first Omaze campaign, like BLI’s founder, has such great ties to St. Louis. This was a wonderful opportunity and we are so appreciative for all of the support.”

The winner of the Ford Bronco, was Angelina T. from Haleiwa, HI.

Omaze offers dream-come-true prizes and experiences to support charities around the world. Through the Omaze platform, people from more than 180 countries have made donations to support the work of over 350 charities.

“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Gateway Bronco and support Big League Impact with this unique campaign,” said Hannah Kamran, head of strategic partnerships at Omaze. “We’re honored to be able to help fund the work of Big League Impact in this way, as they serve communities who need their support now more than ever.”
