More than $100,000 raised for people in need!

Big League Impact founder and St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright traded his glove for a guitar during this year’s Big League Impact benefit concert at Boondocks Pub. Hundreds of Cardinals fans packed the Springfield, Illinois, venue on Jan. 16, 2023, to hear some of Waino’s original songs, which will be featured on his upcoming album.

Wainwright performed alongside legendary songwriters Gary Baker and Greg Barnhill — but not before joining Cardinals Hall of Famer Jason Isringhausen and Cardinals manager Oli Marmol at the autograph table.

This year’s benefit concert raised more than $100,000 for Big League Impact and will help us continue our decade-long mission to save lives, restore dignity and instill hope for people in need around the world.

Special thanks to our generous sponsors, Mama 2’s Biscuits, Martin Equipment, Evan Lloyd Architects, Hickory Point Bank, KSA Lighting & Controls, Marine Bank, Springfield Electric Lighting & Design and the Springfield Lucky Horsehoes.
