More than $12,000 raised for people in need!

MLB pitcher Spencer Patton and his family hosted Patton Harvest Festival on Oct. 22, 2022 in Effingham, Il. More than $12,000 was raised for Hearing the Call, an organization that provides hearing healthcare to people who otherwise have no access. The Pattons first learned of the organization after their own son’s unexplained hearing loss.

“This cause is very dear to Jiletta and I,” Patton says. “Not only are we looking to raise funds and awareness toward hearing loss, but our hope is to also show support for people like our son who need a community of people to encourage them in their continuous struggle with hearing loss.”

The all-day, family-friendly event featured a cornhole tournament, live music by Bluewater King Band, kids’ activities, local food trucks, special guest bartenders and more.

Special thanks to our generous sponsors, Spectrum Reach, The Stage at Lake Sara, Twin City Baggers, The Rusty Reel, Gabby Goat, 217 Mortgage, Entheos, Aqua Blocks, HearCare Audiology and Lauren Nugent, for their support of this event.
