More than $100,000 raised for people in need!

St. Louis Cardinals fans will go head-to-head with Big League Impact VP Kyle Gibson and his teammates Ryan Helsley, John King, Steven Matz and Lars Nootbaar, as well as BLI founder Adam Wainwright, during this year’s Big League Impact charity fantasy football league in St. Louis, presented by CommunityAmerica Credit Union.

This year’s league has raised $102,000, which will support the following charities (hand-picked by participating Cardinals players):

  • The Backstoppers, which provides ongoing financial assistance and support to the spouses and dependent children of first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty. (Matz)
  • Big League Impact, which helps pro athletes rally their fans to raise money for causes close to their hearts in an effort to save lives, restore dignity and instill hope for people in need around the world. (Wainwright)
  • Crisis Aid International, a St. Louis-based nonprofit working to provide life-saving hope and resources to the most vulnerable people throughout the world. (Gibson)
  • National Multiple Sclerosis Society, which works to find a cure for multiple sclerosis while also empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives. (King)

  • St. Louis Stray Rescue, which rescues stray animals in need of medical attention, restoring them to health and placing them in loving adoptive homes. (Nootbaar)

  • Tenkiller Public Schools, the middle school Helsley attended in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. The money will help support education and athletics for local students. (Helsley)

Special thanks to our generous sponsors, CommunityAmerican Credit Union, 101 ESPN, Rawlings Sporting Goods, RealTime Fantasy Sports and Spectrum Reach for their support.
