Over $63,000 raised for people in need!

St. Louis Cardinals fans are taking their fantasy football skills to the next level this season, facing off against some of their favorite pro athletes in Big League Impact’s annual charity fantasy football league. The lineup includes BLI founder Adam Wainwright, BLI vice president Kyle Gibson, and current Cardinals Lars Nootbaar, Matt Svanson and Andre Pallante.

Together, this year’s league has raised over $63,000 to benefit causes hand-picked by the players:

  • Help One Now, which equips families in developing countries to overcome extreme poverty (Gibson);
  • Cardinals Care, which gives fans a way of teaming up with Cardinals players and the organization to help children in St. Louis;
  • St. Louis Stray Rescue, which rescues and rehabilitates animals in need of medical care and loving homes (Nootbaar); and
  • Big League Impact, which empowers pro athletes and their fans to save lives, restore dignity, and bring hope around the world (Wainwright).

The season kicked off in style on Friday, Sept. 5, at Busch Stadium, where league participants enjoyed an unforgettable gameday experience. Fans were treated to an on-field experience, batting practice, and a lively Q&A with Waino, Svanson, Pallante and Blues player Robert Thomas — moderated by St. Louis broadcaster Randy Karraker.

A huge thank you to our generous sponsors — 101 ESPN, e3 Wealth, Rawlings Sporting Goods, RealTime Fantasy Sports and Spectrum Reach — for making this impactful event possible.
