More than $36,000 raised for people in need!

Baltimore Orioles fans had a chance to compete against Big League Impact VP Kyle Gibson and his O’s teammates during this year’s Swinging for Impact Topgolf Challenge. This year’s Topgolf Baltimore event raised more than $36,000 for City of Refuge Baltimore, a faith-based organization working to help local families and individuals transition out of poverty.

When asked why he chose to support City of Refuge with this event, Gibson said: “I had an opportunity earlier this season to volunteer with City of Refuge during a road trip to Atlanta, and I was beyond impressed by the organization and the transformative work it is doing for people in need. I’m so excited to be able to support some of that same life-changing work right here in Baltimore!”

Participating O’s players included pitchers Cole Irvin, Grayson Rodriguez, Kyle Bradish, Dean Kremer, Mike Baumann, Danny Coulombe and Jack Flaherty; infielders Adam Frazier, Ryan O’Hearn, Gunnar Henderson and Shintaro Fujinami; outfielders Ryan McKenna, Austin HaysColton Cowser, Cedric Mullins and Aaron Hicks; and catcher Adley Rutschman.

Special thanks to our generous sponsors for their support of this event — Stan Crisci of RBC Wealth, Mike Kampeter, Brian Moran (Only Morans), Rowley Sports Management, Merritt Properties, RBR Technologies and Mr. Bill’s Terrace Inn Crab House.
