Swing For Impact will be a #RayDay.

We’re excited to announce that Arizona Diamondbacks pitchers Robbie Ray, Archie Bradley and Greg Holland, and catcher Carson Kelly will participate in Swing for Impact Sunday night at Topgolf Scottsdale, joining Nick Ahmed & Luke Weaver.

Our Swing For Impact event in Scottsdale will benefit three worthy causes:

Through Sunday night’s event, D-backs fans can get to know their favorite players, playing Topgolf with them and hanging out in a fun-filled atmosphere. There will even be competitions where attendees can try to outscore the players.

“Amanda and I are committed to restoring and developing communities here and abroad,” Ahmed said in a press release. “Thanks to the generous support of fans, we’re continuing to support the great work we started last year in the Dominican Republic. This year, we’re also supporting the Phoenix Rescue Mission in their incredible effort to help the homeless and hungry here locally.”

In 2018, Ahmed’s pledge campaign raised $45,000 to build a water infrastructure and purification system for the people of El Mogote. This year, he and his wife Amanda are matching up to $75,000 toward their fundraising efforts to be split between helping build a community center in same region in the Dominican Republic and in supporting the Phoenix Rescue Mission, whose vision is to transform lives of those struggling with homelessness, addiction, and trauma.

Last year, Weaver—acquired by the Diamondbacks in the offseason—raised over $23,000 to help build two baseball fields and a sustainable farm in the Dominican communities of Hoyo Oscuro and Camarón. This season, he and his wife Olivia have launched The 22X Campaign—a multi-faceted relief effort to aid the 700,000 Rohingya refugees that includes matching grants from USAID and other humanitarian aid partnerships that makes every dollar raised equal $22.

Our last Swing For Impact event raised more than $34,000 to Matt and Ashley Boyd’s Kingdom Home foundation, and we’re looking to keep this going — with your help.
