While only a select few people will get to hoist the Commissioner’s Trophy or feel a World Series ring weigh their finger down, three MLB postseason teams are playing for something more — the All Win Campaign.

The St. Louis Cardinals, Minnesota Twins and Washington Nationals are winning for their cities and a variety of incredible causes. Players from those teams have joined Big League Impact’s All Win Campaign, pledging their own money to causes they’ve chosen with each victory.

What’s at stake this postseason isn’t just a trophy — it’s food for people who are hungry, mental health support for our nation’s first responders, forever homes for sheltered animals, quality education for children in Haiti and so much more. These players have personally chosen these causes and are working to win for the greater good.

This October, they’re raising the bar and changing countless lives. If your favorite team didn’t make the postseason cut, consider lending your support to one of these squads:

St. Louis Cardinals

Anchored by Big League Impact co-founder Adam Wainwright, St. Louis Cardinals players Miles Mikolas, Mike Mayers, Michael Wacha and Andrew Miller are giving their all on the field for Operation Food Search and Crisis Aid International to feed families in rural St. Louis, as well as fund a STEM farming program at Normandy High School in the St. Louis area.

Those Cardinals players pledged $1,820 for every regular season win — and together with fans, they’ve raised more than $174,000 for those causes. In October, they’re pledging an additional $15,000 for every postseason victory!

Minnesota Twins

In Minnesota, Big League Impact vice president Kyle Gibson — and his Twins teammates Taylor Rogers, Trevor Hildenberger, Jason Castro, Trevor May, Byron Buxton, Jake Odorizzi and Nelson Cruz — are all in for the All Win Campaign.

The Twins have been launching baseballs at a record pace — and have raised more than $109,000 so far for these causes hand-selected by the players:

  • Taylor Rogers: Rogers Family Foundation (mental health support for first responders)
  • Trevor Hildenberger: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities
  • Jason Castro & Kyle Gibson: The Sheridan Story (fighting child hunger in Minnesota)
  • Kyle Gibson: Tandem (a Minneapolis group that works with at-risk mothers and children)
  • Trevor May: Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare
  • Byron Buxton: Minnesota Military Family Foundation (supporting military families)

Washington Nationals

Led by veteran infielder Brian Dozier, the Washington Nationals are ready to make some noise in the postseason for two great causes. They’re playing for the Itawamba Crossroads Ranch (a haven for adults with special needs in Fulton, MS) and for Ferrier Village Secondary School in Haiti.

Last year, Brian, his teammates and fans together raised $280,000 to build a badly needed secondary school in Ferrier Village, Haiti. The Nationals are focused this October on finishing the job and providing quality education to children in this remote village and to adults with special needs in Mississippi who have fallen through the cracks of our medical system.

Starting with Tuesday’s Wild Card game victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, Dozier has pledged $5,000 for every Nationals victory this postseason!
