St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright is the host of this week’s Big League Impact’s Fantasy Impact Charity Challenge during NFL’s Week 7.

Launched in conjunction with its official partner, Yahoo Fantasy Sports, Big League Impact is giving away another free seat to one of its VIP Fantasy Football Draft events in 2019 (a $2,000 value) as the contest’s grand prize. 100% of contest entry fees will go to support an initiative Wainwright helped envision: repairing the center that houses Wings / Love & Care, a program that distributes food to 15,000 people in South St. Louis who live below the poverty line, every year.

It’s a $10 donation per entry, and takes only a few minutes: simply pick a lineup of players from 13 Sunday football games to build your fantasy team, and you can enter up to 10 times to increase your chances to win. Prizes this week include the seat to 2019 VIP draft (here’s a link to the event this year), an official game-used autographed baseball bat personally donated by Wainwright, two autographed 11×19 legendary photos depicting Wainwright, and five Wainwright-autographed baseballs.

If you’re already managing too many fantasy teams but still want to contribute, you can donate to the campaign here.

Wings / Love & Care is a program run by Crisis Aid International that serves more than 70,000 pounds of food every year to one of the most impoverished areas of St. Louis. By partnering with local stores and food banks, the organization is able to collect and distribute meat, bread, fresh vegetables, fruit, canned goods, and dry goods every week to a community that badly needs it. A recent storm destroyed the roof of the center, and all of the funds from this campaign will go towards infrastructure repair needed to keep this program running.

You can sign up all week and the contest begins on Sunday, 10/21 at 1:00pm ET. We hope you’ll support Adam, Crisis Aid, and this important grass-roots program.
